Oasis reunion tickets, prices and what Gallaghers have said | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are reportedly putting their years of feuding behind them to reunite for an Oasis tour in 2025. The legendary Britpop band has sent fans into a whirlwind of excitement as both brothers, along with the official Oasis social media account, have hinted at an announcement set for Tuesday at 8am.

We revealed yesterday that the brothers are planning to reunite next year, sparking rumours that the Oasis 2025 reunion will include performances at Glastonbury and a series of major shows in London and Manchester.

This reunion will mark the first time the famous siblings have performed together since 2009. It’s been revealed that the brothers have already started talking again, ending their decades-long verbal feud after a late night phone call.

They each pursued their own musical paths – Noel with his High Flying Birds and Liam initially with Beady Eye before launching a solo career. However, they’re now ready to reunite for what could be some of the most sought-after shows in music history.

Here’s everything we know so far, after Liam gave his biggest hint yet that the animosity has ended for the brothers.

Reunion dates

The highly-anticipated return of Liam and Noel to the stage is expected to take place next summer. Reports suggest that the reunion will occur in July, following a headline performance at Glastonbury in June.

The iconic festival is scheduled from June 25 to 29 next year, with Oasis embarking on a stadium tour after the 2024/2025 football season.

Locations

Oasis, the iconic rock band, is reportedly preparing for a series of performances at Manchester’s Heaton Park, the largest public park in the North West. The park, which also hosts the Parklife Festival, welcomed Oasis back in 2009.

Rumours are swirling that the legendary group will also perform for ten nights at Wembley Stadium and headline Glastonbury, with potential dates in Scotland also being discussed.

Ticket Information

Tickets for these highly anticipated concerts could be available as early as next week following Tuesday’s announcement. Each ticket is expected to cost over £100.

While the exact date for the release of Glastonbury tickets has not been confirmed, they typically go on sale in October or November, with resales occurring in April. This year, fans had to shell out £355 plus a £5 booking fee for each ticket.

Supporting Acts

Blossoms, an indie band from Stockport, have dropped hints that they may join Oasis for their reunion tour. Over the weekend, the band headlined at Wythenshawe Park, and as their set came to an end, a ten-second clip teasing the Oasis comeback was displayed on screen.

Blossoms even performed Oasis’ hit song ‘Half The World Away’ during their set and had previously supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds earlier this year.

What Oasis Have Said So Far

Over the weekend, Liam Gallagher sparked an online sensation with his Instagram post: “I never did like that word FORMER”, hinting at disdain for being dubbed the ‘former Oasis singer’. When quizzed about a potential reunion, he mysteriously replied: “I think I have said enough.”

Though some remain sceptical, dismissing it as mere hype for Oasis’ upcoming 30th-anniversary Definitely Maybe album, Liam retorted to one critic: “Your attitude stinks.”

He further fuelled speculation at Leeds Festival by saying: “It is very interesting innit? It is a very interesting situation we’ve found ourselves in,” before treating fans to Oasis’ hit ‘Half The World Away’.

At the Reading Festival on Sunday night, Liam dedicated the same song to Noel, calling him the “greatest songwriter”. In a staggering move, both brothers released a cryptic video teaser featuring “27.08.24” and “8am.”

This comes as attention surges around next year’s 30th anniversary of their seminal album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, while their debut Definitely Maybe turns 30 this month.

There’s no doubt that the group achieved titan status in the music industry and enthusiasm for them reuniting has reached fever pitch.
