NRLW player Kate Fallon charged with assault after teen girl left with head wound in alleged dispute over food order delivery

NRLW player for the Parramatta Eels, Kate Fallon, 20, has been charged with the alleged assault of a teenage girl in Sydney’s east last week.

A 17-year-old girl was treated for a deep head wound, after what NSW Police will allege was a dispute “related to a food order delivery”.

Emergency services arrived at an apartment complex on Namatjira Pl at Chifley where they found the injured teen about 1.30pm on Wednesday, July 17.

“She was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital as a precaution; she was treated and released,” NSW Police said.

Fallon was arrested at the scene and taken to Maroubra Police Station, where she was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

She was given conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on August 14.

“The Parramatta Eels are aware of an incident involving a player from our NRLW team,” the team said in a statement.

The father of the alleged victim told 2GB’s Ben Fordham he was worried about the wellbeing of his daughter and described her wound as up to “two inches (5cm)” deep and “pretty gruesome”.
