Nintendo is holding a big new sale on the eShop. Nintendo Switch fans looking for some new games are in luck, because the Play On Sale features discounts on first-party releases, big blockbusters and indie hits. This includes cut priced deals on games like New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, The Witcher 3, Overcooked: All You Can Eat and EA Sports FC 24. The Play On Sale will run until February 25, so you don’t have long to take advantage of all the deals.
Nintendo explains more: “Grab your controller and dive into your next Nintendo Switch game, with savings of up to 70% across all sorts of titles across Nintendo eShop – only until February 25th.”
As part of the sale, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario Party, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Golf: Super Rush and Paper Mario: The Origami King are all down to £33.29.
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is down to £24.49, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is £20.99 and Sonic Superstars is £32.99.
Lots of role-playing games are also in the sale, including Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Fire Emblem Three Houses for £33.29, Knights of the Old Republic Bundle for £10.74 and Persona 5 Royal for £27.49.
Speaking of the Persona series, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are both £10.79, while the Persona Collection is £40.14.
Elsewhere, Nintendo has teamed up with publishers like Electronic Arts to reduce the price of multiplayer games.
EA Sports FC 24, for example, is reduced to the low price of £16.49, while the superb It Takes Two costs £17.49.
Fans of the racing genre can grab discounted versions of WRC Generations, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and Star Wars Racer.
Other picks include Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun for £13.49, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap for £5.39, Baiten Kaitos Remastered for £31.49 and Blasphemous 2 for £16.74.
