Netflix shares Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F sneak peek as fan-favourite returns | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Beverly Hills Cop fans will be delighted to see everyone’s favourite heavily accented gallery worker Serge (Bronson Pinchot) return in a hilarious new clip. Ahead of the release of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F tomorrow, Netflix has shared a tongue-in-cheek sneak peek with Express.co.uk.

Serge is back on our screens with his over-the-top mannerisms and we think viewers will be thrilled to see the character brought back for another instalment. The new film will see Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) return to Beverly Hills after his daughter’s life is threatened.

Other returning favourites include John Taggart (John Ashton) and Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), working to uncover a conspiracy. In the exclusive new clip, a flamboyantly dressed Serge welcomes us into what appears to be his Beverly Hills home.

The character, who wears bright pink loafers, white chinos and a multicoloured, shirt pretends to be surprised to see the camera as he says: “Oh, hello! Welcome to Beverly Hills. My name is Serge.

“Won’t you please make yourself at home in my gracious property,” he continues, as he places his hand gingerly on a fountain. He then tells the camera: “I cannot say this is my house because it is hideous. This is not my house. This…”

At this point, a woman interrupts him, seemingly telling him off, as she tells Serge: “We talked about this.”

He looks forlorn before the camera cuts to Serge sitting down with a cup of espresso in front of a roaring fireplace.

“Read the script,” the woman implores him as he continues: “1974… Sweetheart I don’t do fiction.”

We then see some footage of a car driving around town, as Serge can be heard saying: “I am going to tell you everything you need to know for when you visit Beverly Hills.”

Hilariously, Serge then goes on to mispronounce several words on the script as he reads out the Beverly Hills highlights.

At the end of the clip, Serge poses awkwardly before asking if the camera has stopped rolling. He then asks: “Winston, can you get me out of my Spanx?”

This first film in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise became a huge smash hit back in 1984 and it has since gained a huge fanbase – all of whom will be excited to see the next instalment drop tomorrow!

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F arrives on Wednesday, July 3 exclusively on Netflix.
