Nadia Fairfax welcomes first child with husband Michael Wayne

Former social media influencer Nadia Fairfax has given birth to her first child, with husband Michael Wayne.

The Sydney socialite, who rose to prominence as a fashion blogger, welcomed her daughter, Cordelia, sharing a series of images to Instagram.

The photos showed the 34-year-old holding her newborn baby and laughing, with the simple caption: “CORDELIA!!!!”

Friends and followers took to the comments to congratulate the family.

“How fantastic — congratulations,” Farmer Wants a Wife host Samantha Armytage said.

“Oh how beautiful! Congratulations lovely. So thrilled for you,” Megan Gale said.

The Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies shared some heart emojis while model Georgia Fowler said, “Congratulations mama!”

Fairfax announced her pregnancy news on Instagram in August and shared a series of photos from an event.

She and Wayne married in March 2021 at Swifts, a heritage-listed mansion in Darling Point.

The venue was where radio jock Kyle Sandilands had his reception when he and wife Tegan Kynaston wed earlier in 2023.

Fairfax and Wayne reportedly met in 2018 at the wedding of PR entrepreneur Montarna McDonald and lawyer Nick Pitt.

Fairfax has said her priorities have changed over time, and she is not as interested now in social media and influencing.

“I don’t go to as many these days… I guess I’ve changed too,” she has told SMH of “influencer” events.

“A lot of it is just so tacky now. There’s not much creativity anymore.”
