Mystery surrounds the identity of a woman whose remains were found on a NSW beach, with police yet to determine who she was or when she died.
Locals discovered the body of the woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, at Jetty Beach in the Mid-North Coast town of Coffs Harbour on June 18.
The remains were dressed in a Bras N Things-branded singlet top and blue denim jeans.

NSW Police on Tuesday said while forensic testing on the body continued, the woman was yet to be identified nearly a month after the grim find.
There are no matches between the remains and missing-person reports from the area.
Initial tests showed the woman could have died any time between 2020 and 2023.
A search of the surrounding area revealed several items of interest, including silver earrings, hair clips, a blue-and-white-striped button-up shirt, reading glasses, a book, a backpack and a wallet.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
