Italy holds a special place in my heart for both its rich history and its artistic energy. Each city offers something unique—whether it’s riding a gondola through the canals of Venice, wandering through the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence, enjoying the vibrant energy of Milan, or finding serenity on the shores of Lake Como. And there’s nothing quite like lingering over a drink after a busy day in the charming courtyard of Hotel de Russie in the heart of Rome—French poet Jean Cocteau called it “paradise on earth” in 1917, and I second that notion in 2024.
