“Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement,” Smith, 29, said in a statement, which was first obtained by The Daily Beast. “I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior.”

Wallen, 30, was booked into jail on three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanour count of disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing a chair off a rooftop bar that landed about three feet from police officers standing below. Witnesses told police that they watched Wallen pick up a chair, throw it over the roof and laugh about it, according to court records obtained by the Associated Press.

A source told the Daily Mail that Wallen had been blindsided by the news that his former girlfriend had gotten hitched to Scornavacco when he tossed the chair from the roof of Chief’s Bar.
“KT’s marriage to Luke last week just crushed him,” an insider told the publication. “Of course he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married – but eloping just days after they got engaged? Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn’t stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son. Whatever happened at that bar had to be reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life.”
Smith showed off her new ring and shared photos of her new husband posing with her and Wallen’s son in a series of Instagram posts over the weekend.

Wallen and Smith got together in 2016 and at one point they were engaged. In 2020, after they split, they welcomed a son, Indigo.
In 2021, Wallen told PEOPLE that he had struggled with the split, telling the outlet that co-parenting his son with his ex was “not how I imagined parenthood.”
“My parents are still together … They raised (me and my sisters) together. That was my idea of what my life would look like. That’s not the way it turned out. And I struggled with that a little bit when I first found out,” Wallen said.
Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest, and said the singer cooperated fully with authorities. He was released from custody, and has a court date scheduled on May 3.
Wallen’s arrest comes as he continues to become known as one of the biggest names in country music. On Tuesday, he earned six nods at the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards. His third studio album, 2023’s One Thing at a Time, was one of the most streamed records last year, while his single Last Night was the top-streamed tune in the U.S.

But he has had to endure several high-profile controversies, including an arrest in 2020 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The following year he was caught using the N-word to describe a drunk friend as they returned home after a night of partying.
The incident saw him suspended by his record label and led to his music being pulled by radio stations.
Wallen was able to weather those storms, and his career was able to recover. A year later he won Album of the Year at the American Country Music Awards.
But now a former New York prosecutor and current partner in the White Collar Defense & Investigation Practice Group at Blank Rome LLP tells Fox News Digital that Wallen could face jail time for his latest act.
“The felony charges are the most serious ones and could land Wallen in jail for up to six years if he is prosecuted and convicted of those charges,” Alabre told the website.
