Mississauga man, 28, charged with robbery in home invasion probe

Police have made an arrest in two home invasion investigations.

On Dec. 13, 2023, at 5:52 a.m., Toronto Police were called to a robbery in the Islington Ave.-Dixon Rd. area, where four suspects gained entry into a residence.

They demanded keys and fled the area in the vehicle of the victim, who was not injured.

On Feb. 1 at 3:59 a.m., police were called to a home invasion in the Martin Grove-Burnhamthorpe Rds. area.

On Feb. 16, police executed a criminal search warrant in the Finch-Darcel Aves. area of Mississauga and items of evidentiary value were allegedly seized during the search.

Chessen Johnston, 28, of Mississauga has been charged with robbery with violence, robbery, two counts of break and enter, two counts of disguise with intent and two counts of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
