Miley Cyrus roasted for detail in Grammys outfit

Miley Cyrus certainly turned heads walking the Grammys red carpet.

The singer stunned in a gold mesh dress by Maison Margiela, Christian Louboutin heels and surprised with a windswept hairstyle that left her fans divided.

Memes began to circulate online, with many comparing Cyrus’s cut to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s famous hairstyle.

Thatcher, who died in 2013, was known for having a stiff hairdo.

“Margaret Thatcher, is that you?” one X user asked.

“Miley Cyrus trying to bring back 80s hair,” another said.

“She must have been electrocuted before the red carpet,” a third wrote.

Others compared Cyrus to her godmother, country singer Dolly Parton — who is known for her big hair.

“Like Godmother, like Goddaughter. Tonight, @MileyCyrus‘s beauty at the 2024 #Grammys was reminiscent of Dolly Parton’s major hair moment from years past,” one person commented.

Another said: “Everything is perfect, from the HAIR to the dress to the shoes! Miley Cyrus did NOT come to play #GRAMMYs.”

Cyrus took home her first Grammy for her hit song Flowers, accepting the award for best pop solo performance.

She accepted the award from Mariah Carey, taking the time to fan girl over the “iconic” moment.

“This M.C. is going to stand by this M.C. because this is just too iconic,” Cyrus began, acknowledging Carey, who stood beside her.

“Oh my god, I just got stuck in the rain and traffic and thought I was going to miss this moment.

“And I could have missed the award — that’s fine — but not Mariah Carey! I just saw you at the Hollywood Bowl. It was everything.”

The singer later performed Flowers as part of the broadcast.

She has been nominated for six Grammys.
