Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has enjoyed an adorable “aunty” moment with a young fan during her three-day tour of Nigeria with husband Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on a mini tour of the country to promote Harry’s Invictus Games, the international sporting event he founded in 2014 to give injured or sick military personnel and veterans the chance to compete, similar to the Paralympics.

The California-based couple are also there to champion mental health of young people affected by conflicts in the region.
On Saturday, day two of the tour, Meghan was a spectator at a training session for Nigeria: Unconquered, a charity that works alongside Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation, People reported.
The couple watched a volleyball game, both donning Nigerian flag scarves around their necks in green and white colours.
Harry was later invited to join in the game, with a “Team Harry” chant erupting at one point.
As Harry played, a nine-year-old girl named Tiwa Akanbi was introduced to Meghan.
“She said Prince Harry loves to play volleyball and that he’s very good at it. And she asked me if I play volleyball in my school. And I said yes,” Tiwa later told People.
Her mother added: “She’s always wanted to meet her. She said last night, ‘When am I going to meet ‘Aunty Meghan?’”
Meghan stunned in a black and white cutout silk midi dress by Johanna Ortiz, matching other attendees who dressed in black, white and gold to represent the Invictus colours.
Another young girl in similar colours was photographed handing Meghan a bunch of roses.
The visit to the organisation came a day after Meghan referred to Nigeria as “my country” revealing her DNA test results on Friday night.
“I want to start by saying thank you very much for just how gracious you’ve all been in welcoming my husband and I to this country … my country,” she told the Wuse Lightway Academy in Abuja.
Learning she was “43 per cent Nigerian,” Meghan told the crowd that the first thing she did was “call my mum, because I wanted to know if she had any awareness of it.”
Meghan also shared that she was attempting to steer away from her go-to neutral wardrobe for the Nigeria trip.
“It has been a whirlwind 24 hours since we arrived, and I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more colour, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion,” she said.
