Matteo Bocelli sings Elvis Presley classic at BST Hyde Park in new footage | Music | Entertainment

Last night, Andrea Bocelli performed the 21st century’s biggest classical concert in Europe.

The Italian maestro took to the Great Oak stage at BST Hyde Park with some very special guests from Hans Zimmer to Seal.

The 65-year-old was supported by Katherine Jenkins and his son Matteo Bocelli, who is very much following in his father’s footsteps.

The 26-year-old opened the show at 5pm with singles including Solo, Close and Dimmi.

Aside from a lovely duet with Joaquina, another real highlight was a cover of an Elvis Presley classic.

Like his father Andrea, Matteo Bocelli occasionally sings the much loved Elvis song Can’t Help Falling In Love from 1961’s Blue Hawaii.

And last night fans were given such a treat, which you can view in the fan-captured video above.

Matteo is expected to also perform at his father’s three 30th anniversary shows in Tuscany later this month.
