Mary Trump on Tuesday explained why she believed her uncle, former President Donald Trump, is “terrified” about Kamala Harris’ newly-announced pick of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her 2024 running mate.
GOP nominee Trump had chosen in his vice presidential candidate JD Vance “somebody who would lick his boots, subjugate himself, and exhibit the kind of cruel weirdness that Donald, and the base of the Republican Party, revel in,” Mary Trump wrote in a new edition of her email newsletter, “The Good In Us.”
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Harris, meanwhile, had “picked someone who has executive and actually wants to work to make the lives of Americans better,” she contrasted.
The choice of “rural hunter and Midwest dad” Walz is “pitch perfect,” claimed Mary Trump.
And Donald Trump’s niece expressed hope that her relative would keep attacking Walz with similar meltdowns to his “unleash HELL ON EARTH” freakout warning.
Trump is “creating a caricature of Walz that has no basis in reality and these attacks are not going to resonate with anybody except those of his followers who are still in thrall to, as opposed to heartily sick of, Donald’s apocalyptic vision of America,” she said.
