Margot Robbie knew that she had to make a splash with her first maternity outfit after announcing her pregnancy earlier this week. And what better locale than day 12 of Wimbledon?
Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, were among the spectators at the men’s singles semi-finals, where they watched Daniil Medvedev face off against Carlos Alcaraz. While their eyes may have been glued to the match, we couldn’t help but train ours on the actor’s fresh-off-the-runway maternity look.
Putting a funky spin on Wimbledon whites, Robbie wore a draped Alaïa dress by Pieter Mulier from fall 2024, featuring an asymmetrical hemline and one-shouldered cape. Although it appears the dress is patterned with small black polka-dots, it’s actually affixed with snaps and grommets, allowing the wearer to customize the fit. (Robbie opted to wear her dress differently than on the runway, which connected the skirt to the cape for a more severe asymmetrical hemline.)
Robbie continued the Alaïa streak with her accessories. She added a pair of black heeled peep toe mules, sculptural cat-eye sunglasses, and the black-and-white iteration of the brand’s Le Teckel bag.
