In a bold move away from all things pretty and pink—who can forget her micro French tips or jelly-shoe-inspired nails?—Robbie chose to accessorize her demure dress with a chic shade of creme brûlée.

Created by Hollywood’s go-to nail tech Betina Goldstein, who used Chanel’s Le Vernis in Légende, a milky caramel color with a slight yellow undertone. While perhaps not as universally wearable as baby pink, nor as edgy as greige, a soft hue is a great in-between option if you fancy something that’s different but not too dramatic. And as Robbie proved at the Vanity Fair after party, it’s a versatile option if you’re flitting between frocks.
