Manhunt underway after man stabbed at shopping centre in Erina on NSW’s Central Coast

A manhunt is underway after a serious stabbing at a shopping centre on the Central Coast in NSW.

Two men were inside a shopping centre on Terrigal Drive, Erina, before they walked to a carpark where one of the men, aged 39, was stabbed about 7.20pm on Monday.

Paramedics treated the man for stab wounds to the left side of his chest and left arm before he was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

A manhunt is underway for the second man, described as Caucasian, 175cm tall, with a muscular build and long dark hair which is shaved at the sides and was worn in a ponytail, according to police.

The man has tattoos on his right arm and, when last seen, was wearing long dark pants, black singlet, black shoes and had black coloured headphones around his neck.

“(We) advise any members of the public who know this man not to approach him, but to instead call Triple 0,” police said.

“Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.”
