The 34-year-old frequent flier is wanted for second-degree murder in the Jan. 4, 2022, double shooting of two Mississauga men — 24-year-old Minyali Wur and 20-year-old Chudier Reat — at an Etobicoke business plaza. An unnamed woman received minor wounds.

It wasn’t until August 2022 that Grant was named as the third suspect in the murders. By then, Grant was in the wind.

In 2023, he was named one of Canada’s most wanted by the BOLO program. Still, no Grant.

But on the weekend, Grant allegedly reemerged in Windsor. Gunshots appear to have been his calling card.

Police in Windsor say that just before 6 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a brawl involving several parties on Erie St. E. The fight allegedly involved Grant and detectives soon learned he was wanted for the Toronto double murder.

Witnesses reported that Grant fired a single gunshot and fled the scene prior to the cops’ arrival. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunshot.

Grant is described as Black, about 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds with a muscular build and brown eyes, currently sporting dreadlocks and a goatee. He is considered armed and dangerous and if seen, he should not be approached, police said,

In the Etobicoke murders, one of Grant’s alleged co-conspirators also remains on the lam. Darriel Thompson, 21, of Mississauga, is sought on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

He too, is still on the BOLO page. A third suspect turned himself in.

In 2019, Grant was arrested and hit with a slew of drug- and firearms-related charges. Cops allegedly found a gun and cocaine worth $46,000 in the search. Grant was also accused of assaulting a cop.

He was charged with assaulting police, careless storage of a firearm and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The outcome of those charges is not known.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830 or Crime Stoppers.
