Toronto Police say officers responded to a theft call that had just occurred in the area of Bay and Bloor Sts. around 5:20 p.m. on July 24.
“A man walked into a jewelry store (and) he requested to try on a watch,” Const. Ashley Visser said in a statement released Friday.
She said the man then fled the store without paying for the $43,000 watch.
