A man has been winched to safety from the ledge of a cliff face in New South Wales’ Royal National Park.
A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance told 7NEWS.com.au the man came to be on the ledge after falling into the ocean at Eagle Rock, a popular scenic lookout within the park, late Saturday.
He then managed to climb up the rocks to a ledge about 20m from the top of the cliff, where he remained overnight until emergency services were called about 10.15am on Sunday.

It’s unclear who called for help.
The man was winched to safety by a helicopter about 2pm. Fire and Rescue NSW and multiple paramedics were at the scene.
He was treated him for minor scratches and mild hypothermia, but remains in a stable condition.
The man is expected to be airlifted to hospital.
