Man sought by Toronto cops after stabbing

Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection to a downtown stabbing.

Toronto Police officers responded on Nov. 17 at about 6 a.m. to a call for a stabbing in the College St.-Ossington Ave. area.

Police said a physical altercation took place between two men, who knew each other.

One of the men allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing.  The victim was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Abdirahman Ahmed, 23, of no fixed address, is wanted for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and disobeying a lawful order of the court.
