A man aged in his 20s has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being hit by a car while riding an electronic bike in Sydney’s east.
Emergency services were called to the crash on South Dowling St in Moore Park at 3.45am on Sunday.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the cyclist before he was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.The driver of the car, a 27-year-old woman, was breath tested and returned a positive blood alcohol reading.
She was arrested and transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.

NSW Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
