Man fighting for life, woman seriously injured in stabbing at Campsie unit, in Western Sydney

A man is fighting for life and a woman is seriously injured in an alleged stabbing in western Sydney.

A 53-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were both found with multiple stab wounds at a unit in Ninth Ave, Campsie, about 8.45pm on Wednesday.

The man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition with stab wounds to his face, arm and chest.

The woman was taken to St George Hospital with stab wounds to her thigh.

A short time later, a 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Concord Hospital where he remains under police guard.
