A man is fighting for life after being stabbed during an alleged altercation in Sydney’s inner-east overnight.
Emergency services were called to Crown Hotel on Crown St in Surry Hills just before 9.30pm Thursday where they found a man in his 50s with a stab wound to his chest.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
The alleged assault was captured on security cameras, with the accused allegedly fleeing the scene.
Police arrested a man about an hour later on Oxford Street and charged him with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to face Downing Centre Local Court on Friday.
