A man has been seriously injured when he was hit by a car after being assaulted in Sydney’s south.
Emergency services were called to a hotel on Forest Rd, Hurstville just before 5am Friday after a man was assaulted.
“Officers attached to St George Police Area Command were told a 33-year-old man was allegedly assaulted before being hit by a vehicle,” police said.
Paramedics treated the man for serious leg and head injuries before he was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
