Officers arrived to find a man out front of a house suffering from a gunshot wound, Det.-Sgt. Aaron Akeson said at the scene on Saturday, explaining emergency responders tried to revive the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

He wouldn’t say if the victim lived in the area, but he did say the man was “known to police.”
