Durham Regional Police say officers on “proactive patrol” initiated the traffic stop near Burns St. W. and Clarence Dr. – west of Brock St. S. – around 12:40 a.m. on Monday.
“The vehicle was searched under the Cannabis Control Act, revealing a quantity of drugs including what is believed to be cocaine, fentanyl and oxycodone,” Const. Nicholas Gluckstein alleged in a statement Wednesday.
Brayden Wallace, 23, of Oshawa, is charged with numerous offences, including possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.
He was released on an undertaking.
