Man, 21, boy, 17, accused of robbery at TTC subway station

A 21-year-old man and 17-year-old boy are accused of a robbery at a downtown TTC subway station earlier this month.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for a robbery on Aug. 19 at approximately 2:35 p.m. at Bathurst Subway Station near Bloor St. W. and Bathurst St.

It is reported that the victim was approached by two males at the subway station and was assaulted.

According to police, the victim tried to flee but the attackers continued their assault and then sprayed a noxious substance in the victim’s face.

Police say the assailants then grabbed the victim’s phone and fled the scene.

The victim did not know the assailants, cops added.

On Saturday, police announced the arrest of two suspects.

Jaiden Boloamatz-Lerch, of Toronto, is charged with robbery with an offensive weapon, administering a noxious thing, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
