A young man has died in hospital following a collision between a bike and a car in Sydney’s northwest last week.
A silver Honda hatchback and a trail bike crashed on Kurrajong Rd, North St Marys, sometime around 6pm on Monday August 26.
The bike’s pillion passenger, a 20-year-old man, was treated at the scene by paramedics with head, chest and spinal injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The rider, a 19-year-old man, was also taken to Westmead Hospital with injuries to his ankle and knee in a stable condition.
A 25-year-old man behind the wheel of the Honda was not injured and he was taken to the same hospital for mandatory testing.
On Wednesday, August 28 the 20-year-old pillion passenger died in hospital.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Police are still investigating the crash and are urging anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers.
