Lulu and Lo dummy/toy chain baby product recalled over fears of choking or suffocation

A baby product sold in Australia has been recalled over fears it could pose a choking hazard for infants.

The Lulu and and Lo dummy chain/toy chain, sold online, has been recalled by the South Australian Consumer and Business Services.

The product was available for sale between April 1, 2023 and April 20, 2024.

According to Product Safety Australia (PSA), the product does not comply with the required mandatory standards.

“There is a risk of choking, suffocation or death to young children if the dummy chain doesn’t comply with the standard,” it said.

PSA has warned consumers to stop using the chain “immediately”.

“Destroy the chain by cutting the clip off and dispose of them,” it said.

Consumers can send a picture of the destroyed product to Lulu and Lo for a full refund.
