Lauren denied the accusation that she punched Jayson Boebert, who on Sunday told the Denver Post that he was not pursuing charges after he allegedly called local cops as a “victim of domestic violence,” the New York Post reported.
“This is a sad situation for all that keeps escalating and another reason I’m moving,” Lauren said in a statement, according to local NBC affiliate KUSA. “I didn’t punch Jayson in the face and no one was arrested. I will be consulting with my lawyer about the false claims he made against me and evaluate all of my legal options.”

Lauren’s aide told The Daily Beast that Jayson made an “aggressive move” toward her and she “put her hand in his face, put her hand on his nose” to repel him.
Another description alleged that the congresswoman landed two punches to her ex’s nose, prompting him to call the cops.
Lauren reportedly called the police to dispute the allegation of a domestic assault.
During their night out at the Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, which is in her district, Jayson allegedly began “being disrespectful” and an “a–hole,” the aide recounted.
Jayson told the Denver Post he phoned Silt police Sunday morning to tell them he doesn’t want to press charges.

“I don’t want nothing to happen,” Jayson reportedly said. “Her and I were working through a difficult conversation.”
He reportedly cut the interview short before elaborating on what happened between him and his ex-wife.
The Boeberts wed in the mid-2000s, but divorced in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Jayson previously pleaded guilty to “public indecency and lewd exposure” over his actions at a Colorado bowling alley in 2004 involving two women when he was 24 years old.
Lauren also has a track record of minor arrests, including for disorderly conduct and missing court summons.
The Silt Police Department is reportedly conducting an “active investigation.”
In September, Lauren caused a stir when she and her then-boyfriend, Quinn Gallagher, got handsy. Video footage showed Lauren groping her companion’s crotch while Gallagher was spotted fondling her breasts during a performance of the musical Beetlejuice. Lauren was also allegedly seeing vaping in her theatre seat.
They were kicked out of the theatre for causing a disruption.
