“So how much has the 2020 election — and everything that has flowed from it — pissed you off?” Wallace asked David.
The co-creator of Seinfeld replied that he “can’t go a day without thinking about what he has done to this country because he’s such a little baby.”
David then lashed out at Trump, who has called the convicted Jan. 6 insurrectionists as “patriots,” as “a sociopath.”
“He’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of (the 2020 election). I mean, it’s so crazy. He’s such a sociopath. He’s so insane. He just couldn’t admit to losing. And we know he lost! He knows he lost!” David continued. “And look how he’s fooled everybody. He’s convinced all these people that he didn‘t lose. He’s such a sick man. He is so sick.”
After finishing his diatribe, David concluded with a laugh, “Anyway, no, it hasn’t impacted me at all.”

David, who donned a “Make America Great Again” cap to keep people from coming up to talk to him on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm this season, has been vocal about his extreme dislike for Trump and the people close to him.
In 2021, he went viral following an exchange with lawyer Alan Dershowtiz, who was once a member of Trump’s defence team, in a cringey a scene that could have been out of David’s sitcom.
“What happened is — it’s interesting because I was having lunch with a very radical lawyer who loves me. I mean, he disagrees with me. We argue all the time, ” Dershowtiz recounted to the The New Yorker. “So I was having lunch with him and then a number of other people were there. Suddenly, Larry David walks in to buy some groceries. I say, ‘Hey. Hi, Larry,’ and he turns away, and he just walks away. I say, ‘Larry, can’t we at least talk?’ He said, ‘No. You’re disgusting.’
“He called me disgusting, and he said he could never talk to me,” Dershowitz continued. “Here’s a guy who used to come to our house to work out in the gym. He would come to our house for dinner two or three times a summer.”
“Larry is a knee-jerk radical,” Dershowitz told Page Six. “He takes his politics from Hollywood. He doesn’t read a lot. He doesn’t think a lot.”
David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm is currently streaming its 12th and final season on Crave.
