Kristin Cavallari debuts relationship with 24-year-old

Kristin Cavallari is happier than ever, now that she has a younger man in her life.

The Laguna Beach alum, 37, shared a smiling pic with 24-year-old Mark Estes to her Instagram, captioning the snap: “He makes me happy.”

According to his Instagram bio, Estes lives in Nashville, which is where Cavallari resides. Like her ex, onetime NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, he’s also a former football player.

Cavallari’s post generated more than 289,000 likes, but in the comments section some fans questioned their 13-year age gap.

“Girl, he wasn’t even alive when Laguna Beach aired,” one follower swiped, with another snarkily adding, “She’s finally posting pics of her kids.”

“We understand he’s fine,” another user remarked, “but I feel like his dad might be more qualified for daddy material.”

But not everyone was critical of Cavallari’s new relationship.

“She’s happy, leave it at that!” one fan cheered, with a second supporter adding, “I just saw a pic of him without a shirt on. Congratulations.”

“Oh, she’s in her cougar era,” a third person applauded, adding a series of hand-clap emojis.

Meanwhile, The O.C.’s Rachel Bilson gave her seal of approval, leaving a string of fire emojis on the mom-of-three’s post.

Cavallari’s budding romance comes after she opened up to E! News about how she’s navigating single life following her split from Cutler.

“I’m not overwhelmed, because there’s not a lot going on,” she said of jumping back into dating. “It’s really not important to me right now. It’s just not with where I’m at in my life.”

Last November, Cavallari looked back on her relationship with Cutler, from whom she officially divorced in 2022, saying she “learned a lot” from their seven-year marriage and has no regrets.

“I’m so thankful for my time with my ex. I mean, so thankful! It ultimately led me to finding myself. I learned a lot. There were some f***ing hard times, but now that I’m on the other side of it, I’m so thankful for it,” she said on her Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast.

“I’m thankful for it all because I find that in the most challenging times, that’s where the most growth is. So no, I really don’t regret anything in my life. Are there moments I’m maybe not proud of? Sure, but I don’t regret anything. I really don’t.”

Meanwhile, despite Cavallari’s post, a source close to Estes told Page Six that the new pair “aren’t official yet.”

“Kristin thinks Mark is super hot. He’s very flirtatious, and she’s loving it,” the insider adds. “They were down in Mexico for just a few days but had a lot of fun together. It’s still new.”

But a separate source tells the outlet that both are “unfazed” by criticism over their large age gap.

“They’re two consenting adults who like each other, so who cares?” the confidante declares. “Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Kristin and Mark aren’t paying attention to the noise.”
