MANILA, Philippines — Kevin Quiambao remained committed to La Salle’s upcoming title retention bid in the UAAP Season 87 men’s basketball tournament later this year amid receiving multiple offers.

The reigning UAAP Season and Finals MVP admitted that he pondered what’s best for his young career.

But he decided to stay with the Green Archers, keeping his word when he promised to play one more year for the school last December.

“I’ve decided to fulfill my promise for DLSU and [the]Lasallian Community. To God be the Glory. Animo.”

The 22-year-old forward attracted multiple offers after a stellar Season 86 when he emerged as the runaway MVP winner.
