Decked out in Maple Leafs gear, the 29-year-old pop star took to his Instagram to share photos from his night out at Scotiabank Arena, writing, “Had fun last night at the next gen game with the @mapleleafs.”

Justin’s 292 million flooded the comments with warm wishes for the beaming couple. But Drake was disappointed he wasn’t asked to join the pair on their date night.
“Wow guy doesn’t even invite me to see some puck bunnies eh,” the Toronto rapper, 37, jokingly wrote.
When Justin and Hailey were shown on the jumbotron during the game, the cute couple smiled and waved to the sold-out crowd, who cheered enthusiastically.

Drake has been looking to hang out with Bieber at a Leafs game for a few years now.
When the Ghost singer played an impromptu game of shinny with Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and former Leaf Tyson Barrie on Boxing Day in 2019, Drake commented on Bieber’s photo: “Wow this guy didn’t even invite me eh.”
The Hotline Bling hitmaker then photoshopped a younger version of himself into Bieber’s photo, taking the spot of Barrie.
“Good shoot around with the boys. Shout out to all the puck bunnies that came to watch greatness,” Drake captioned his pic, which showed him wearing skates as a kid.

Bieber’s attendance at Leafs’ games always makes headlines, but his fandom hasn’t been a good luck charm (the Buds lost 4-2 Wednesday night).

Last December, fans couldn’t stop talking about his rainbow-coloured jacket paired and purple sunglasses when he was captured in the stands alongside Hailey.
“Bieber at the Leafs game looking like Willy Wonka,” one fan tweeted, with another adding, “Nothing more Canadian than a pic of Justin Bieber wearing his Leafs cap and drinking his Timmies.”

Over the years, Bieber has been vocal in his support of the Leafs, even helping co-design team jerseys with his Drew clothing brand and dedicating his song Hold On to the club.
At the beginning of the pandemic-shortened 2021 season, Bieber took his fandom to another level as he tried to manifest the squad’s first Stanley Cup since 1967 with regular posts on his social media pages.

“This is the year,” Bieber declared early on after the group rolled to a 3-2 victory over the Sens. But during the team’s first-round matchup exit at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens, Bieber’s social feed went conspicuously quiet and fans tried to blame him for not cheering loudly enough.
“The Leafs lost because Justin Bieber hasn’t posted a random old Leafs logo on Instagram in a while,” one person jokingly theorized.
The following year, Bieber honoured his mom in a Mother’s Day post that also included the prediction, “We’re gonna bring back lord Stanley’s Cup to Toronto this year and it will be beautiful.” But the Leafs were swept aside following a first-round playoff matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Last spring, after the team broke its playoff drought, winning its first playoff series since 2004, Drake celebrated on his Instagram Story by reposting footage from “Leafs Square” and adding a watery eyes emoji and the caption: “The Leafs are through to the second round.”
Fellow Leafs fan Will Arnett, who was also in attendance Wednesday night, took to social media and wrote, “F*************** YESSSSSS.”
Surprisingly Bieber was quiet after the series win, preferring to cheer in private, and the team was ousted in the following round by the Florida Panthers.
But Bieber will get another chance to root for the Leafs in person this week when the squad returns to home ice Saturday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.
