Megyn Kelly has Joe Biden’s wife, Jill, in her sights, accusing the First Lady of encouraging her husband to remain the Democratic candidate for U.S. president in order to benefit herself.

“I think she’s been exposed as a power-hungry aspirant herself to political power,” Kelly told Piers Morgan on his online television show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, reported the New York Post.
“This is the leader of the free world. She knows how infirm he is. She wants a shadow presidency.”
The former Fox News prime-time host with a current SiriusXM podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, also took issue with a June 2021 photo in which the Jill Biden posted an image of herself sitting at a desk on X.
“Prepping for the G7,” the caption on the post read.
“She’s not the damn president. Get out of the chair,” Kelly told Morgan on his show on Wednesday.
“No one wants you at the G7. No one elected you to lead us politically.”
The news site, Mediaite, first reported Kelly’s remarks.

The First Lady is seen as one of the few people encouraging Joe to stay on despite concerns about the 81-year-old president’s mental faculties, particularly after an embarrassing debate with Donald Trump last week.
Kelly told Morgan the video of Jill Biden helping Joe off the debate stage was like a “mama” guiding a “toddler.”
It was reported that Jill said to the president afterwards: “Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question! You knew all the facts!”

But Kelly likened the exchange to “the way I speak to my dog when he sits on command.”
Kelly also recalled how upset the left got after she made fun of the First Lady’s insistence on being addressed as “doctor,” citing her doctorate in education.
“Why does she insist on it?” Kelly asked. “Because she’s power hungry. Because she has a small, fractured ego that she needs to be built up. The only people who get to be called doctor, legitimately, I understand, no disparaging of the degree, are medical doctors.”
The Post asked for comment from the White House.
