The second Jawa 423 is expected to be equipped with a bigger 334-cc engine from the Jawa 350 but with a different tune. Additionally, the new bike might come with some changes in the chassis with more operable dimensions. It is expected to have a six-gear transmission.
The teaser image did not give much away but it appeared to feature the same diamond-cut alloys from the 42 Bobber. It also has ‘Jawa’ graphics embedded across the fuel tank.
The motorcycle in the images has disc brakes at both ends, and it is safe to assume that it will have dual-channel ABS.
The new Jawa 42 is expected to compete with Royal Enfield 350, which is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh in ex-showroom. The starting price of the updated Jawa 42 launched on August 13 was Rs 1,72,942 in ex-showroom.
