Rihanna is deep in her blonde period and to say we are obsessed is an understatement. Though the musician and Fenty Beauty founder has been blonde in the past — most notably with her rooty golden blonde back in 2012 — she’s been having a lot of fun experimenting with the color spectrum as of late, starting with a honey tone in fall 2023. On a recent night out in Los Angeles, Rih wore what appears to be an even lighter shade of blonde, styled in the prettiest casual-yet-fancy curly updo that I’d love to examine from every angle.
Rihanna was snapped on her way to Giorgio Baldi restaurant with her hair pulled up and back from her face, then gathered at the top of her head in soft ringlet curls. Though we don’t have a full 360-degree view of the updo, it looks like some of the curls were pinned to the base, while others were left loose, falling to the nape of her neck. And if I’m not mistaken, her color has changed too; it certainly looks a few shades paler, somewhere between a light gold and baby butter color, almost exactly matching one of her many strands of pearls.
