The Paris Olympics are only a few months away and iconic Australian sneaker brand Volley has returned as the official footwear supplier for the Australian Olympic team.
Ahead of the games Volley is releasing a “limited edition replica of the Closing Ceremony shoes and exclusive slipper boot”.

“Volley sneakers have stood the test of time for 85 years. We are honoured to be entrusted with capturing the spirit of the Games for the Australian Olympic Team,” The Volley CEO David Thomas said.
“Crafting shoes for both the opening and closing ceremonies is not just about style; it’s about encapsulating the pride, unity and legacy of our athletes.”
The Volley team worked closely with the Australian Olympic Committee to craft “two distinct Volley models”.
The shoes created for the Opening Ceremony are a “revamped Volley Deuce” which feature premium leather, embossed Olympic logos and “subtle green and gold accents”.
The insole of the shoes feature Indigenous Olympic boxer Paul Fleming’s artwork “Walking Together”, with all Australian Olympic Team members walking together in style at the Opening Ceremony.
The shoes for the Closing Ceremony will showcase the beloved Volley Heritage Low tailored specifically for Paris 2024.
This edition embraces the iconic boxing kangaroo graphic insole and extends the iconic green and gold webbing to the lateral side of the shoe.
Olympic Athletes such as Torrie Lewis, Jeff Dunne, Georgia Goodwin, Michelle Heyman and Mariafe Artacho del Solar showcased the Volley sneakers at the recent Official Olympics Uniform Unveiling held at Clovelly Beach in Sydney.
