This year’s winner, Dylan Wright, was a huge crowd favourite, as was last year’s winner Royston Sagigi-Baira.
So, what have this year’s Top 12 Australian Idol stars been up to since the much-loved show aired on Channel 7 and 7plus?
Quite a lot, as it turns out!
Just two months after the spectacular finale, the Top 12 have been living the superstar life and achieving huge milestones.
Here’s a rundown of what your Top 12 Idol favourites have been up to — proving that Australian Idol really does deliver on dreams.
Winner — Dylan Wright
Popular winner Dylan Wright has already had his first sold-out show, is recording new music and will be going on tour in September, performing in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.
Dylan has been sharing his post-Idol journey with his fans on social media, showing glimpses into the new music he’s been making ahead of his tour.
“Life lately has been a whole lot of writing and recording,” he wrote.
Early last month he shared a photo of himself performing on stage.
“Never thought that I would be up in lights in front of everyone,” he wrote.

Runner-up — Amy Reeves
Talented Broome singer Amy is already recording new music with award-winning producer Billy Davis.
She will be opening for Sarah G and Bamboo in August.
“Over the past month, I’ve poured my heart and soul into songwriting, and for the first time ever, I feel confident enough to share my original music with you all,” she wrote last month, announcing she would be performing at the Sunset Sounds Music Festival in her hometown of Broome in September.
“How amazing is personal growth!?! AH!!!”
“She’s coming home 🐣💛.”
In a separate post showing her in a recording booth, she wrote: “Been a busy lil bee.”
“Heart so full creating with so many wonderful people as of late,” she added.
“Feeling very very lucky.”

Denvah Baker-Moller
Rockhampton country queen Denvah has been performing on some of country music’s biggest stages and festivals around Australia since appearing on Idol.
She’s also been writing new music and sharing it via Instagram video with her fans.

Isaac McCallum
This supermarket worker from the NSW South Coast won hearts with his raw talent and gritty backstory.
He’s now supporting Conrad Sewell on tour.
“Hey all just jumping on to say a massive shoutout to @conradofficial and his band for giving me the opportunity on Sat night to open up for them at the Marlin Hotel,” he wrote on Instagram after a gig in Ulladulla.
“I loved every minute of it, and a big thank you to all of my friends, family and fans for coming along and being a part of the show!!
“I couldn’t do it without you all, until next time stay tuned.”
