According to Product Safety Australia (PSA), the product does not comply with the mandatory safety requirements for children’s nightwear.

“The products do not have the required fire hazard labelling,” PSA said.

“There is a risk of serious burn injuries if exposed to a heat or flame source. Consumers may not be aware of this hazard.”

Consumers have been told by PSA to stop using the pyjamas “immediately”.

They should return the product to their nearest H&M store for a full refund.

No receipt is required.

For more information consumers can contact H&M on [email protected] or call 1300 401 300.
