Posh and Becks, Liam Gallagher, Robbie Williams, Kate Moss, and Kylie Minogue – all in their 90s finest – seemed to mingle with other shoppers as they waited patiently for the store to open.
From double denim to head-to-toe leather, the looks from yesteryear were designed to match the interior of the store. But it turns out they were just lookalikes, clad in clothes of the decade.
To celebrate its 30th birthday in style, the store stepped back into the 90s revisiting the iconic era when the store first made its mark on the high street back in 1994.
From TLC to the Spice Girls, legendary radio DJ Denise Van Outen was spinning the decks giving everyone nostalgic feels. Celebrity stylist and all-around 90s fashion guru, Susannah Constantine, was in-store showing everyone ‘What Not to Wear’.
Susannah Constantine said: “The 90s were an incredible time for celebrities and fashion. Some of the most iconic looks of all time came from this era, and it’s reflected in lots of the trends making a comeback today. That 90’s way of frivolous dressing has made a comeback – something I’m particularly thrilled about!‘’
Denise Van Outen added: “I love 90s fashion, and it’s great to see it making a comeback.”
