Golden Globes 2024 live: Presenters announced as build-up begins ahead of star-studded ceremony

Who will Barbie star Margot Robbie be sitting beside? Where will Leonardo DiCaprio and the cast of Killers of the Flower Moon watch the evening’s events? And where will American Idol winner and The Color Purple lead actor Fantasia Barrino be?

Though it’s not always on the mark, the Golden Globes are considered to be a good marker of who and what later awards ceremonies will recognise in their nominations – namely, the Oscars.

Louis Chilton investigates what the 2024 Golden Globe nominations tell us about the Academy Awards:

Though Jo Koy is the main host for the ceremony, he’ll be joined be a slew of famous faces to hand out individual awards.

Amanda Seyfried, Angela Bassett, Gabriel Macht, George Lopez, Julia Garner, Justin Hartley, Michelle Yeoh, Patrick J Adams and Will Ferrell are all expected to present later tonight.

The awards will take place on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, beginning at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.
