Glastonbury 2024 headliners are set to be announced ahead of the festival this June.
Last year’s lineup was led by Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses and Elton John, which resulted in calls for more female representation in 2024.
According to the latest odds for the Pyramid Stage headliners, it sounds like that will be the case this summer.
Coral Bookmakers announced today that three potential acts are odds on for Glastonbury Festival.
Both Coldplay and Dua Lipa are odds-on to headline Glastonbury 2024 at 1-5. This makes sense for Chris Martin and the band who will be on the Music of the Spheres European this summer, with Glastonbury dates of June 26-30 currently free.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa finished her Future Nostalgia tour back in 2022 and her third album is set for release at some point his year.
Just behind them on 1-3 is Madonna, whose Celebration Tour concludes on April 26, so she would certainly be free for a Pyramid Stage slot.
Coral’s John Hill said: “We think Coldplay and Dua Lipa will be two of the headline acts on Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this year as they are both very short in our betting. There have been reports of a breakdown in talks with Madonna, but we still make the Queen of Pop odds-on to appear at the Festival this summer.”
Other contenders in the odds include: 2-1 Pink, 3-1 Rihanna, 4-1 Girls Aloud, 4-1 Foo Fighters 5-1 Dave, 5-1 Rolling Stones.
