Fresh off the back of his side’s 92-point massacre of the Melbourne Football Club on Sunday, Fremantle superstar Caleb Serong has had more good news come his way.
In a heartwarming Instagram story, the 23-year-old and his partner, Chloe Furnari, have revealed they are engaged.
Furnari’s sister Kasey announced the news as the “best day ever”, which the talented AFL superstar reposted on his own account.

Last year, the Dockers best-and-fairest winner enjoyed a trip to Queensland’s Hayman Island with his now-fiancee.
And in 2022, Furnari, a pilates instructor, brought elegance and glamour to the AFL’s Brownlow Medal with her designer black outfit and matching gloves.
She wore a custom Oglia Loro gown, going for something completely different from her 2021 look.
On Sunday, Fremantle claimed the top-eight scalp they had been craving, making the fourth-placed Dees look ordinary — and sending a statement to the rest of the comp with the thumping victory.
Playing in the red centre, the Dockers tore Melbourne to pieces in the centre square, had too much speed around the ground and then barely missed when shooting for goal to win 22.9 (141) to 7.7 (49).
It was the highest score Fremantle have ever kicked under Justin Longmuir and their second largest winning margin away from home in the club’s history.
Serong is again in top form this season, and is fifth favourite with bookmakers in this year’s Brownlow Medal betting.
He is averaging over 30 disposals a game — ranked as elite — and is also ranked elite for clearances.
