Farmer Wants A Wife stars Claire Saunders and Andrew Coleman, who fell in love on the 2023 season of the hit Seven show, have announced some exciting personal news.
The pair were so smitten with one another during last year’s season that Farmer Andrew left the show early, certain he’d found “the one” with Claire.

Now, a year on, the pair have announced via an Instagram post that they are engaged.
Taking to Instagram, Claire shared two posts revealing the happy news.
In the first, a video, two champagne glasses clink together in front of two farm horses, with The Chicks’ song Lullaby as the soundtrack, including the lyrics: “Life began when I saw your face …”
“I said YES to the love of my life 💍❤️,” the video was captioned.
“So absolutely grateful that I wake up to this life every day.
“You are my best friend @farmerandrewau and my safe place, ILYSM xx.”
The post was hashtagged: #engaged and #ourbestlife.
In a second post, the emerald green engagement ring Claire is wearing is on full display as Andrew kisses her on the cheek.
“17-03-24,” the picture is captioned, with a white love heart emoji.
Followers, including other Farmer Wants a Wife stars from last year, rushed to congratulate the pair.
“Congratulations to you both, so happy for you,” wrote Olivia Benic, who is partnered up with Farmer Matt.
“Congratulations to you both 💚💚💚,” added Emily, who is engaged to apple farmer David McMahon.
“AHHHHHHH!!! Congratulations!!! 🤍🤍” wrote 2023 contestant Lorelei Bates.
Other friends and followers commented on how much they loved Claire’s green ring — and what a perfect match the pair were.
“Oh congratulations you beautiful gorgeous couple ❤❤ love the ring. 😍😍😍😍😍,” one fan wrote.
“Congrats you two 🍾 A perfect match 💖🥂” added another.
“You are so beautiful, congratulations,” added a third.
“I am so glad you have found your happiness.”
Since Farmer Wants a Wife, Claire and Andrew have kept their followers regularly updated on the progress of their relationship.
Claire seemed to settle in well and quickly to farm life in Narromine, NSW, and they recently celebrated their first anniversary as a couple.
“Happy 1st Anniversary Lover ♥️,” Claire wrote on Instagram in December.
“The first year of life with you has been my favourite one yet, thanks for showing me what real love is meant to feel like.”
“We have a nice positive thing going here, and it is good to finally get to show the world our happiness,” Claire, 37, told Woman’s Day last year.
“It would be nice to have twins first up and then see what would happen after that.”
“We’re approaching it with the mindset of, let’s enjoy one another first for a period of time and make memories of our own, and if things keep evolving in a positive manner, then that’ll come,” Andrew added.
With their engagement announcement, it’s fair to say that things definitely evolved in a positive manner.
And it bodes well for the new season of Farmer Wants a Wife, coming soon to Channel 7 and 7plus.
Last year’s series has now seen two engagements and the birth of a child to Farmer Brad and his partner Clare.
