A nutrition expert has revealed one delicious fruit that can help boost your immune system and help you lose weight.

Japanese persimmons fruit are a good source of vitamins A and C as well as manganese, which can help blood clots and other health issues.

The fruit also have other antioxidants, which help reduce the risk of many serious health conditions including cancer and stroke, according to WebMD.

“Not only do they contain the essential bodily nutrients, but they are also packed with compounds such as tannins, flavonols, antioxidants- helping to flush any bad toxins out of the body.

“Also, its 6 grams of fibre helps to decrease inflammation, and aid healthy digestion.”

The nutritionist went on: “Persimmons have a mellow sweetness and a flavour with a similar nature to melon.
