Just after Gucci’s Fall 2024 runway collection, creative director Sabato De Sarno (“I don’t have a theme—ever,” he described of the collection, “my theme is the clothes.”) gathered his fashionable friends for an after-party at Horto—a just-opened, Milanese restaurant.
From chef Norbert Niederkofler the 6th-floor restaurant welcomed the likes of Solange Knowles (who wore slouchy jeans and a double G belt), Kirsten Dunst, Julia Garner, Bethann Hardison, Mark Ronson, Ana Diop, Natasha Poly, Caroline Trentini, Mariacarla Boscono, Daisy Edgar Jones, Emma Chamberlain, Romy Madley Croft, Poppy Delevingne, Derek Blasberg, Cleo Wade, Maude Apatow, Hanni. Upon arrival, partygoers sipped Spritzes and Negronis, and scooped up plates of pasta being passed around.
The plan? A casual Italian dinner followed by a night of dancing at a nearby hotspot but that was before Alexa Chung (who turned up in a slick black jacket and tailored black shorts) decided the restaurant could double as a nightclub; she connected her personal Spotify account to the restaurant’s speakers and drummed up a dance party. Julia Garner, Daisy Edgar Jones, and Mark Ronson were like moths to the dancefloor-flame, with Britney Spears and Cher tunes bumping throughout the space. The new plan? Sticking around until the clock struck midnight—and then some.
