Just like you wouldn’t mess with Victor Newman, you don’t mess with his portrayer, Eric Braeden.

Braeden, who is just as fiery as his character on soap opera The Young and the Restless, is also fairly active on social media.
So when a post on Instagram from a fan surfaced that took aim at three of Braeden’s co-stars, he didn’t hold back.
A woman named Kerry, username @ghyrbbfan1974, shared a promotional photo of three of Y&R’s Black actors with the caption: “The three faces that are destroying the show.”
She added: “They all think their high and mighty when they’re not, can’t wait for someone to put these slaves in their place. #YR”
The longtime fan of Y&R, General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful, may have gotten the surprise of her life when Braeden shared her post.
“These three actors are dear colleagues of mine; they have more class than you LOW LIFE can imagine!” the daytime TV veteran wrote in defence of Sean Dominic, Christel Khalil and Bryton James.
“We are going to block your racist a**, you got that, b***??!!”

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown first brought the user to Braeden’s attention, noting she had already been blocked by General Hospital’s page “for this same level of racism.”
Other fans didn’t hold back either, with one person writing, “Victor Newman ain’t playin’!”
A second user wrote: “There’s a reason he’s THE Man of Y&R! Thank you, Eric, so much for speaking up. I hope others follow your lead.”
Another added: “I didn’t think it was possible to love you more. You are a singular treasure, Sir!”

The news comes after General Hospital was forced to issue a statement about racism after one its actors, Tabyana Ali, was attacked online by racist trolls.
Ali, who plays Trina Robinson on the ABC show, took to X to address the hatred, Entertainment Weekly reported.

“To anyone that hates me. That’s absolutely fine. I don’t know you and you don’t me but regardless I’m sending you peace, safety, and prosperity,” the actress posted on June 9.
In a follow-up message, she added, “We cannot be feeding into people’s hate. We cannot be giving it back. We cannot stoop to rude/racist people’s level. It doesn’t help. We are fighting too many wars as it is.”
On the show’s Instagram page, they shared, “General Hospital does not tolerate hatred or bigotry of any kind. Racism has no place in Port Charles. #GH is for everyone.”
