Emma Corrin Brings Surreal Style to the Independent Spirit Awards

Emma Corrin is never one to play by everyone else’s fashion rules on the red carpet, whether they’re rocking a pantless tuxedo or a dramatic veil. This was no different at the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards today, held in Santa Monica, California: Together with stylist Harry Lambert, Corrin brought a dash of surreal style to the red carpet. The star—who’s nominated for Best Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series, for their role on A Murder at the End of the World—slipped into an eccentric look by Miu Miu that instantly prompted a double-take.

The black, square-neckline dress featured two handprints applied onto the bust, giving the look ample quirky character. Equally so were the bejeweled green tights that Corrin paired it with—talk about a statement accessory! (Corrin has a well-documented love of playful hosiery.) A strappy pair of Miu Miu kitten heels polished off the red carpet moment.

This certainly wasn’t your standard LBD look—and thank goodness for that. When it comes to red carpet dressing, we can always count on Corrin to bring some personality and fun to the function.
