It’s probably one of the more confusing products Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would lend his name to.

Part of his new Papatui men’s skincare line, which is sold at Target in the US, the inclusion of the haircare products had some of his fans scratching their own heads.
The products are affordable, with most retailing for $A15 or less, and receiving good reviews online.
But many wondered how a hair-free man could successfully promote items devoted to keep locks clean and shiny.
The Rock, 51, had clearly thought ahead about that very question.
On the packaging, there is a picture of the star with a quote that reads: “My hair would’ve loved this 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner”.
Online, the reaction was hilarious.
“What is happening?” one social media user wondered.
“I was just minding my business perusing the aisles of Target when I happened on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s two-in-one shampoo.
“I’m sorry, I’m not going to buy shampoo and conditioner from a hairless man?”
“Do I trust The Rock to know what’s best for my hat hair?” another wondered.
“This man has no business in the shampoo department,” noted a third.
Others thought the slogan was good enough to shift units.
“I would buy it just because of the slogan, tbh,” one fan said.
“OMG this is the craziest celeb launch of all time!” added another.
“I’m bald and confused,” said a third.
The Rock talked up his new Papatui line in an interview with People magazine, saying men were still “whispering” about having a skincare regimen.
“I found over the years as men, we can have these great conversations about working out, recovery, ice baths, saunas and we can talk about trucks and cheat meals and tequila and our favourite movies,” he said.
“But every conversation I would have regarding skincare, I was always pulled to the side privately like, ‘Hey, can I ask you a question? What do you do for your skin?’.
“So many times I would say, ‘Dude, why are we whispering? It’s okay. We should be able to have this open conversation.’
“Papatui has allowed me to encourage just a more open, greater conversation about skincare and grooming.”
And it seems the skincare brand is a big hit with followers.
After posting a video to Instagram about his brand’s eye gel, followers raved about the product in the comments section.
“It is awesome, unlike any other product I’ve tried, and I’ve tried them all,” one wrote.
“I picked some up and the wifey didn’t know, but when I used it, she mentioned how my eyes look less puffy,” wrote another.
“She didn’t know I even had this, let alone used the product, so you know it worked. Good stuff!”
Several women also revealed they were using the eye gel.
“It works!!! Both my husband and I use,” one fan revealed.
“I love it,” said another female customer.
“I said, let me try this even though it’s supposed to be for men, lol.”
